About Me

Traci Bianchi-Templin - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Sacramento, California

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Sacramento, California. I have helped individuals (children and adults), couples, and families in the Sacramento and Roseville regions since 2010. I have a passion for guiding clients through their journey of finding peace, balance, and happiness in daily life. I view therapy as a collaborative effort between the client and the therapist.  I support my client's unique individuality, life experience, and their personal story.  I value openness, acceptance, and laughter, and I strongly believe that we are in a lifelong process of growth and change.  Using empathy and compassion, I provide support and practical tools and feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. I utilize a variety of complementary therapy techniques tailored to build on a client’s existing strengths and to assist them in achieving life goals.

My background includes working with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families wishing to find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues. I have worked in a variety of counseling and non-profit settings including HOPE Counseling Center, People Reaching Out, and Woodland Joint Unified School District. I have extensive experience working with those struggling with issues of addiction and addiction recovery, codependency, trauma and abuse, and grief and loss. My broad array of personal and professional experience includes assisting families and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds who are struggling with issues of depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger, self-esteem, life transitions (including children and divorce, blended families, and adoption), parent-teen relationships and communication, and personal and spiritual growth.

To maintain balance in my own life, I enjoy spending time outdoors with family, friends, and the family dogs, hiking, kayaking, skiing, cycling, and camping. I believe that any outdoor activity with family or friends – and the family dogs, Kody and Huckleberry- nourishes my soul!
